I JUST PLACED AN ONLINE ORDER. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Thanks for your order! Now that your order has been placed, you will get a confirmation email and receipt to the email on file. We are working hard on your order and are working with our growers to make sure we get you the plant of your dreams, so we ask you to hang tight for an email from us.

`On average, turnaround time for delivery is about a week, but in some cases delivery can take up to a week and a half for some of the bigger items. Monday is our big delivery day, as things arrive from Florida that morning and head straight to your home. Look out for an email that says shipped and out for delivery Monday am between 10-11 am to confirm that your plant is on its way out to your home. Normally if you order by Sunday evening, you can expect that your plants will arrive by the following Monday morning at the very latest as we place our orders on a Sunday. Sometimes (most of the times) we get lucky and have plenty of plants to fulfill orders that same week, so stay tuned bc you may be getting stuff in under a week in many cases.

Here's what happens next: you will get an email that says "processing" when your plant has been ordered from our greenhouse partners in sunny Florida. Once we have your plant confirmed and here in Chicago, you will get an email that says "shipped". "Shipped" means your plant(s) will be out for delivery on our climate controlled truck in 24 hours or less.

On your delivery day, you will get an email that says “Out for delivery” that will be followed up with a text message from us when we are headed your way. The text message we send will have a tracking link, give you en eta, and also let you know when we are pulling up to your home or office. We ask that you please try to meet our driver at the door or outside. If you cannot be contacted for delivery, your plants will be left with a door person or in a secure area for packages.

HOW DO I GET A PLANT DELIVERED TO MY HOME OR OFFICE?

If you know what you are looking for, you can order directly through our website and we will deliver to you in a matter of days. Aren’t sure what to order? We can help you pick out the plants that will do best in your space! Reach out to us via phone or email or schedule a plant consult on our site to have Andy take a look at your space virtually/in person to make sure you get the right plants for your space, lifestyle, and skill level.

WILL MY PLANT LOOK LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE?

Yes! All of the plants we deliver are tall and fully grown as seen in the pictures and fall within the height range noted on each plant description. Every plant is unique and will have slight variations in markings, tone, color, and shape. Our drivers love plants and treat these plants as if they were their own.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

We offer free delivery to Chicago, IL addresses and $25 flat rate to the Chicago Suburbs. We currently only service the Chicago Metropolitan Area but will travel up to 8 hours for clients interested in larger orders in neighboring cities.

DO YOU SHIP VIA USPS/FEDEX/UPS/DHL/?

All of our items are larger than what other online retailers offer as “large/XL” plants and we believe strongly in delivering a quality product by hand, that is never mishandled, left out in the cold/heat, or shut in a box for 3-5 days. So, No. We do not offer shipping via mail carriers and do not plan on it bc we believe it will sacrifice the quality and limit the size of product we are able to offer.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY PLANT TO ARRIVE TO MY HOME?

On average, turnaround time for delivery is 3-5 days, but in some cases delivery can take up to a week and a half for some of the bigger items. Our small plants (6” featured in perfect gift section) generally go out within 1-2 business days of when ordered between Sunday and Friday. so that means if you ordered on a small plant on a Sunday night, it will go out on Monday. We deliver Monday-Saturday 9am to 7pm..

We are always here to help with your plant questions or concerns! We take great care in delivering plants to you in climate controlled conditions and never allowing our plants to leave our hands or be handled by third parties or mail carriers. We hand deliver each plant and inspect each plant to make sure it meets our specifications. If we somehow missed the mark, please email us at andy@plantsdeliveredchicago.com. If a plant arrives damaged or dead (which never happens, we will replace it on us.
